PRACTICING GRATITUDE 🙏
Hello 👋 Beautiful people! Do you know the feeling of been a little off sometimes ? not necessarily unhappy, you know the feeling when you wake up in the morning and you can’t just really focus . I have been feeling like that for days now 🤗🤗🤗
I woke up this morning and as I opened my eyes, my first thought 💭 was one of gratitude, it filled me up with contentment for a moment but as the moment passed, a subtle reminder of all the things I haven’t done and is likely I might not be able to do it today or this year .
Then I had a tiny little voice saying “GRATITUDE “ as I lay in bed 🛏, I realised that one thing am usually good at is gratitude but for days now , have been forgetting that . I am even an advocate of gratitude as I tell people to practice it all the time even when the going seem tough. Gratitude is the vitamin of the soul , is also a way of practicing law of attraction to manifest things to happen in life . I will write about that later in the future as we all should be aware of the law of attraction as what u think is what you get .
It feels so funny to see it as something that needs to be practiced, but the realisation is that if you don’t engage in it, you can easily forget to do it all. It’s means gratitude should be a constant practice daily .By focusing on the things that I’m grateful for this morning, I felt a weight slowly lifting and I can feel the light at the end of the tunnel. You know what, it’s surprising how something simple could be so detrimental when forgotten , now I feel there is a shift in my emotions and I can feel my “CAN DO” attitude coming back and am so happy to start my day with a sound mindset .
The moral of my little story ; is practicing gratitude everyday can make a huge difference to your emotions and in turn your productivity. It’s too easy to take your situation, how far you’ve come for granted . Now when I step back and think about it , I am exactly where I needed to be and have a lot to be thankful for . Trust me ! I am not where I used to be , even though not where I want to be ,but I am truly grateful. That thought alone makes my emotions to feel resolved and my thoughts are lot clearer .
